We are the cloud provider for email analytics data. We present to our clients an unrivalled battery of data points on their readers, supported by a team dedicated to email analytics tools. This service isn't just an afterthought thrown in to add value.

Data, what does Shiftmail do to protect it?
We take all possible precautions to keep your data safe from unauthorised third parties. In addition, we do not share any of your details with any third-party. We detest spam as much (if not more than) you!

Account


How can I reset my password?
You are, mostly likely, familiar with the password reset procedure we have adopted as most secure websites do it in a similar way. Please navigate to the password reset page, enter your account email and submit the form. You must then open the email you have received and follow the instructions within.
How can I resend my confirmation email?
Please login to your account, at the top of the dashboard page you will see a large banner asking you to confirm your email address. Contained in this banner, to the right side, is a button which when clicked will resend your confirmation email.

Billing


Are my card details?
Yes. We pride ourselves on our security, however, we are not PCI DSS certified so it would be illegal for us to directly process your card details. For this reason we outsource all billing to the industry leading payment provider known as stripe. Your card details go directly to stripe, who then tokenise the card and return to us a token to store. Please reset assured we take security very seriously.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Yes of course you can. Before you do it would be great if you'd contact our support team to see if there is anything we can do help you stay with us!
Can I switch plans?
You may upgrade, downgrade, cancel, or resume your subscription at any time - we're very flexible. Just head over to the plans page and select a new plan to switch to.
How often am I billed?
Depending on the plan you have chosen you will be billed every 30 days or every 365 days.

Analytics


Will Shiftmail collect all metrics from all users?
The short answer is no. This sadly is not a short coming of our tracking, rather a short coming of some email clients. As an email designer you already know about how varied each email client can behave. Some will block images, some will cache images, and some will hide client information. We provide as much info as we can which should be more than enough to help you re-target your campaigns and analyse engagement.
How do I integrate Shiftmail tracking into my emails?
Once you have created a campaign please open the campaign setup page for further instructions, the campaign setup page can be found on the campaign manage page.
How can I share a report with a colleague?
Every campaign report is hidden by default. To enable report sharing browse to the campaign manage page and click the "Enable sharing" button next to your desired campaign. Another button will now appear labelled "Sharing Link", click this button and the publicly useable sharing link will be displayed.
How can I view more detail location data?
Each type of location data is represented by a separate pie chart. To drill down to a more detailed view of the data simply click any slice on the pie chart. To then return to the higher overview data click the orange header that appeared in the panel when you clicked on the pie slice.
